Organizational Effects

Organizational effects of adoption of Industry 4.0 paradigms for workers and companies.

Introduction

The main ambition in this research line is to find/analyze and develop applications where IoT technology and digitization helps people and workers to get a claener and safer environment.

The clear example of such applications is the smart devices workers can attach to monitor their performance, health or environmental conditions, which enable strong changes in working and living conditions.

Several applications have been developed such as contributions to standardization for monitoring long term evolution of patients of Essential Tremor disease.

Another relevant contribution is the creation of the concept and the development of specific solutions related to the Healthy Operator 4.0.

Indeed, the indoor air condition monitoring, but also the pollution forecasting are relevant contributions to the welfare of society.
